The K18 Peptide Prep™ Detox Shampoo is a colour safe, clarifying shampoo that removes product residue to create a clean canvas and the most optimal hair environment for the K18 Peptide™. Recommended to use before applying the K18 Leave-in Molecular Repair Mask.
What it does?
- Thoroughly cleanses hair and scalp: Excess build-up is broken down with a gentle lather that unclogs hair follicles while removing dirt and oil.
- Clears the way by removing build-up from oils, silicones or heavy conditioners leaving hair clean.
- Prepares the hair for maximum results: Everything works better on fresh, clean hair, including chemical treatments, treatments (like the K18 Mask), and styling products.
To use:
Important! Before using the K18 Mask, the hair must be super clean. If you use a lot of styling products and/or heavy products with oils or silicones, this can cause a layer on your hair that prevents the K18 Mask from penetrating optimally. Therefore, go for a detox shampoo and wash your hair 2 times if necessary.
IN the shower:
1. Shampoo your hair, do not use conditioner.
OUT of the shower:
1. Towel-dry your hair.
2. Start with 1 pump of K18 Mask and use more if needed. The amount depends on the length, thickness and condition of your hair.
3. Distribute the mask evenly in the hair from ends to roots, one pump at a time. Less is more!
4. Leave the mask on for 4 minutes to allow the peptide to take effect.
5. Do NOT wash out the K18 Mask.
6. Style your hair as usual.
Use the K18 mask 6 washes in a row. You will see almost an optimal result after 3 washes. Use the mask afterwards every 3-4 washes, when needed.
