Environ’s product lines are designed to meet a variety of skin needs, regardless of age, skin type, or age group. The products can be tailored to different needs and skin types. Whether you are young and want to maintain healthy skin, or older and looking for anti-aging solutions, Environ offers a range of products that can be adapted to different age groups. While some products target specific skin concerns, vitamin A always forms the foundation of Environ’s approach to skincare.
Environ stands out with its unique 'Step-Up' system, where the concentration of vitamin A in the products is gradually increased. This allows the skin to slowly build tolerance to vitamin A. Additionally, Environ uses advanced formulations and ingredients, alongside vitamin A, to effectively address specific skin concerns.
It is generally recommended to start with a low dose of vitamin A, even if you have previous experience with vitamin A products from other brands. Environ uses a gradual build-up system to allow the skin to acclimate to vitamin A gently. Using too high a dose too quickly can lead to a retinoid reaction.
Youth EssentiA combines a serum and cream to deeply hydrate the skin. The addition of peptides and vitamin C from the first dose makes this line even more potent and enhances its anti-aging effects.
Skin EssentiA, starting from AVST, contains vitamin C and peptides to support the skin.
Environ offers targeted solutions for every specific skin concern. In addition to the comprehensive Youth EssentiA and Skin EssentiA lines, Focus Care Comfort+ is also available.
Environ offers a range of sun protection products to meet different needs: a chemical variant (RAD) and a mineral variant (RAD SHIELD), both with SPF 15, as well as a recent new formula with SPF 20. This addresses the demand for slightly higher protection without compromising comfort or skin-friendliness.
Environ emphasizes that the difference between higher protection factors, such as SPF 50, and lower factors is relatively small. For example, SPF 50 provides about 97%–98% protection against UVB rays, while SPF 15 and SPF 20 provide approximately 93%–97% protection, respectively. The focus is therefore not only on the SPF number, but mainly on consistent and correct use.
For optimal skin health, Environ advises protecting the skin daily. Apply RAD or the new SPF 20 in the morning and combine it with a makeup product with SPF, such as jane iredale’s PurePressed SPF20. During the day, you can easily refresh protection with a powder like jane iredale’s Powder-Me SPF30 for continuous and comfortable coverage.
It is true that many skincare experts are often asked about the use of vitamin A during pregnancy. Environ and other manufacturers frequently emphasize that cosmetic vitamin A in skincare products, when applied topically, is generally considered safe. This is because the vitamin A molecules do not easily penetrate the skin and enter the bloodstream, minimizing risk to the pregnancy.
However, caution is advised during pregnancy, as opinions on this topic may vary. It is always wise to consult a midwife or doctor before using skincare products containing vitamin A during pregnancy, to ensure you make an informed decision that fits your individual situation.
