Birth Of Venus is a fragrance inspired by the renowned Italian painter Sandro Botticelli and his masterpiece capturing the goddess of love and beauty. Botticelli, an artist of the Early Renaissance period, was celebrated for his epic paintings intertwining religion and Greek mythology.
According to legend Venus (Aphrodite to the Greeks), the goddess of love, beauty, and passion, was born fully grown from the foam of the sea and was worshiped for her gifts of fertility, abundance, and protection. She was considered one of the most powerful of gods. Botticelli presents the goddess standing tall and bare in the center of the canvas, looking ethereal and luminous. She draws all attention to herself, a symbol of physical and spiritual beauty.
This divine fragrance embodies the essence of the goddess of beauty. It opens with bright bergamot, juicy peach, delicious grapefruit, orange, and sweet lavender. Transitioning sensually into a floral heart of narcissus, jasmine sambac, rose, iris, and violet, paired with decadent raspberry and chocolate. The fragrance concludes with base notes of warming amber, earthy vetiver, cedarwood, mysore sandalwood, seductive cashmere wood, and labdanum, giving birth to the most beautiful and heavenly olfactory experience.
