In 2006, Berlin perfumer Geza Schoen shook the fragrance industry with a simple but radical idea: what if you put a single aroma molecule in a bottle? No dozens of notes, no complex pyramid, just the pure power of one ingredient. Escentric Molecules works in pairs.
Molecule 01 contains only Iso E Super, a synthetic molecule that smells different on every skin and is almost invisible yet irresistibly present. Escentric 01 uses that same molecule as its backbone and adds just a handful of other ingredients. Since then, Molecule 02 through 05 have followed, each built around a different central molecule. The result is a perfume that does not just sit on you, it merges with you. You smell it on others but recognise it as uniquely theirs.

Escentric Molecules builds each fragrance around a single central aroma molecule. Molecule 01 contains only Iso E Super, a synthetic molecule known for its skin interaction: every person smells it differently because it reacts with individual skin chemistry. The result is often described as 'you, but better'.
Each number comes in two versions. 'Molecule 01' contains only the central molecule, with no additions whatsoever. 'Escentric 01' uses that same molecule as its core but adds a limited number of ingredients that enhance and surround the molecule. Molecule is radically minimalist, Escentric is more complex but still very pure.
Not everyone smells Molecule 01 equally strongly on themselves, because a portion of the population is anosmic to Iso E Super. On others it smells intensely and very personally.
